Changing the Cord on a Cantilever umbrella is NOT an easy task.
Whilst Shelta will make the cord available for people wishing to replace the cord themselves we strongly advise against it unless you have a high level of technical abilities. We recommend returning the umbrella to us to have it re-corded
While we would love to assist, our resources will not allow phone support for people who try this.
This is a difficult part to replace – Requires a considerable amount of technical ability and patience to do so.
We strongly advise that this is not a consumer-replaceable part
A handyman, builder, technician or skilled person with the right tools might be able to change this part.
