As part of our commitment to sun protection, Shelta places a major emphasis on advising consumers of our product's UPF ratings. We take care to select high quality dense fabrics which look great as well as save your skin.

The Olefin and Textmesh fabrics apply to all Australian made umbrellas, Shademax (all sizes) and Capri. And in imported umbrellas like Vigo Grande, Biarritz, Fairlight, Riviera, Seville, Anthea, Cressida only in the Olefin colours listed on those product pages.

Acrylic - fine woven Sunbrella Acrylic fabrics, premium outdoor furniture covering with its legendry toughness and unsurpassed non-fade properties. Weight is 380 gm/mt. UPF 50+ (98% UV protection)

Olefin - a fabric that combines lustrous beauty with durability. Weight is 270 gm/mt. UPF 30+ (96% UV protection). Widely used in our cushion range.

Australian made umbrellas, Shademax (all sizes) and Garden Umbrellas can be supplied in the whole range of Olefin. And in imported umbrellas like Vigo Grande, Biarritz, Fairlight, Riviera, Seville, Anthea, Cressida but only in the Olefin colours listed on those product pages.
